RULES AND REGULATIONS -
I hereby understand that each time Las Vegas Elite or LV Elite is mentioned throughout this contract it is meant to be all inclusive of Las Vegas elite llc, GoldFWIA and its owners and employees.

OVERVIEW
-
1. Only registered athletes are allowed in the practice area. Siblings, family members and friends are not allowed in the practice area. Athletes can be seen and monitored by parents at any time for safety, but coaches and assistance in the practice area are background checked adults. It is not appropriate for siblings, other parents/adults, friends to enter the practice space for the safety of the athletes as they are not background checked or part of practice. Background checks are conducted by Las Vegas Elite and verbally telling the coach that you are background checked by another source is NOT enough!

2. No damage of athlete property or gym property will be tolerated. Kicking/ ripping, taking, destroying gym property or athlete property will be grounds for removal without refunds.

3.No outside coaching from parents or siblings during practice. It is distracting to athletes and does not make for a productive gym time.

3. No food, open drinks, or gum are permitted in the practice area. Do not leave trash in the gym. Respect the gym!

4. Athletes need to be dropped off and picked up in a timely manner. Athletes with late pickups will be billed by the gym. We rent our gym time and they do expect us to leave in a timely fashion for the next teams. Respect coaches and the gym by picking up on time. Coaches will NOT drive athletes home because parents are late.

5. Cell phones and other electronics must be put on silent mode or left outside of the practice area. Athletes may use their phones in emergencies but they may not be texting/calling/games/internet during practice time.

6. Las Vegas Elite Cheer is not responsible for any personal items lost or stolen. Please bring minimal items to the gym/practice. There are many teams in the facilities and it is difficult to track lots of small personal belongings.

7.Parents and Athletes must complete all forms and waivers and return them as needed to coaches or online as requested. In cheer forms are an ongoing process. Competitions each have their own waivers and forms besides just our own team forms. If these are not completed, athletes are asked to sit out from practices or removed from competitions.

8. All choreography including cheers, dances, stunts, transitions, tumbling, music selections, editing, etc. are the exclusive property of Las Vegas Elite Cheer and shall not be shown or discussed with others. This is for the benefit of your athlete!

9. Member athletes and parents will NOT put down, bully, grade, rank, qualify athletes on the team. Do NOT post, discuss, share athletes and team members to intimidate, harass, bully, critique, or hurt athletes. Doing so will remove YOUR ATHLETE from the team without refund. We are a kind and inclusive groups of teams meant to grow skills, form friendships, and build cheerleading skills in a positive environment. We support our athletes in a positive manner and we do NOT tolerate bullying.

10. Parents are expected to keep athlete financial accounts current. Late payments may incur late fees. After 30 days athletes will be removed from teams.

Las Vegas elite Cheer will:

1. Place its athletes on the team(s) it feels will best suit the athletes and their teams.

2. Place athletes in spaces and roles on their team. Sometimes these will change. (example flyer, base, backspot, tumbler

3. Listen and consider concerns - at appropriate times
-
4. continue to increase skill levels of athletes on teams at appropriate times. Athletes will not be permitted to engage in skills that they are not prepared for - doing so could lead to removal of the athlete due to safety concerns.

5. Move, replace, add, suspend, or even dismiss an athlete for a period of time or indefinitely due to: attendance, conduct, skills, finances, parent conflicts, etc.

Athlete Attendance:
-
-
1. Attendance is important - cheer cannot occur without attendance.
-
2. Notify coaches immediately when an injury occurs so changes to routine choreography can be made prior to practice.
-
3. be at practice on time. gym time is limited.
-
4. do not miss blackout weeks or competitions
-
5. Notify your coaches in advance for absences when possible. Coaches may be able to adjust routines in a timely manner before practices.

6. if you are absent from practice - you are still responsible for the full monthly payment. Our gym rentals and insurance do not change because you missed a day!

8. Athletes are allowed 5 absences during the season. Choreography days are mandatory. After the 5th absence you will have an evaluation with the coach.

9.The week leading up to competition will be blackout dates, athletes missing practice may be replaced in the routine and will be charged $25.

uniforms for competition:
-
1.Be in complete uniform by meeting time for competitions - this means finished hair/finished makeup/cheer shoes/full uniform

2. KT tapes, braces, supports should be on and ready at check in. Warm ups will begin and our bags may be removed.

3. No Jewelry except approved medical ID tags.
-
4. no press on or acrylic nails - will cause injury .
-
5. Do not expect coaches to carry coats, bags, water bottles, toys etc. Competition moves very fast. Only bring your team bag and supplies needed. Coaches will instruct where to place team items like backpacks once we have details from each competition. Do not bring unnecessary items.

Athlete and parent Conduct:
-
1. protect our athletes and other athletes - if you see something unsafe - please tell a coach!

1. accept team placements with dignity
-
2. do not disagree or boo/put down other teams
-
3. be respectful and encourage your teammates and other teams in practice and the gym
-
4. do not belittle judges opinions /placements online or at competition. It is ok to have a difference of opinion but sharing online can hurt our team.

5. Be respectful to parents, coaches, athletes. Being kind goes a long way
-
6. schedule time to talk to the coach if you have an issue to discuss.

7. respect coaching decisions

8.encourage athletes, build them up, do not put them down - everyone makes mistakes
-
9 make friends and enjoy the moments. your athlete will grow up and probably one day no longer be doing cheer. They grow up faster than we realize. let's enjoy this time in their life by encouraging, supporting, and believing in their abilities and interests.

Health:
-
1. Keep current health insurance and emergency contact information on file with las vegas elite cheer. Let us know if there are updates!
-
2. Inform las vegas elite of medical/emotional/social issues that may impact their physical limitations or emotional status during cheer.

3. inform a coach of any injuries during las vegas elite activities as soon as possible
-
4. if you will be absent or have limited activities due to injury or illness please inform a coach! Bring documentation if you have it!
-
5. Provide a list of medications that your athlete is currently taking. This is private information but may be needed in an emergency situation.
-
6. Any athletes or parents consuming illegal substances will be removed from Las Vegas Clite areas and activities.
-
7. Athlete use of any drugs, alcohol, tobacco will be removed and banned.

Competitions:
-
1. Families must keep financial fees for competitions current. Not attending a competition will still incur the fee. Competitions do not refund teams when athletes miss events.

2. stay up to date on the band app and from a team parent - if one is assigned to your team.
-
3. Be prepared for competition changes. Many times things happen and the showtimes times are changed and adjusted leading up to the final day!
-
4. be on time! we will have meeting times well before the showtime/stage time. This allows us to meet, warm up, acclimate ourselves with the venue and make sure all athletes are prepared. If you are late for warm ups your athlete may not be allowed into the competition area. It is very important to be at our meet up on time!

5. please pay attention to dates - missing a competition for anything other than an extreme emergency will hurt an entire team.

Tuition:
-
All athletes and parents understand that:
-
1. They assume full responsibility for all payments needed for your athlete to be in good standing on their respective team.
-
2. Monthly payments will be made via electronic debit on the 1st and 15th of every month, tuition is on the 1st, special payments are on the 15th.
-
3. Tuition does not fluctuate based on the number or duration of practices in any month. Please note that all Las Vegas Elite vacations have already been prorated into the monthly fee and spread across our team calendar to accommodate

4. tuition does not change because you are absent

5. Any payment attempts resulting in a NSF (non-sufficient funds), declined credit card, expired credit card, returned check, electronic debits, etc. will incur a $15.00 service charge. It is your responsibility to update your information with us if your information changes (E.g. bank account number, card number, exp. date, etc). Please keep your account up to date.

6. An athlete’s account must be current and in good standing to participate in practices, competitions, or special events.

7. An athlete that has a balance behind more than 30 days will have a mandatory meeting with possible removal.
-
7. Las Vegas Elite Cheer may withhold items or deny practices for athletes with balances due.
-
8. Any funds received from an athlete/parent will be applied first to any overdue tuition/fees.
-
9. If an athlete chooses to leave or is asked to leave for any reason before the season is over, any and all funds are completely non-refundable.
-
10. A registration fee and tuition deposit equivalent to one month’s tuition will be due at sign up. If an athlete decides to not accept team placement or leave the team these payments cannot be refunded. These are used for team expenses that we cannot return.

11. Las Vegas Elite Cheer reserves the right to turn over all delinquent accounts to a collections agency and the parent/ athlete will be responsible for all additional costs incurred. Please contact staff if there are payment issues.
